Metal and wood weapons are encouraged. Knifes and swords can be metal, but no real blades are allow. You may bring blackpower flintlocks, but you not fire them. Fire spinning is allowed after 10pm. If park ranger stop by, we may have to put all weapons away. No glass is allow on the beach.
This is a highly interactive event is limited to 200 pirates. Everyone is expected to participate. This event is designed for mates wanting to learn about pirate re-enactment, this is not a club event with cheap Halloween costumes to get drunk.
Hotels
Most of all the hotels around the party location are either booked up or very expensive. Here 3 Hotels about 10 minutes away that are affordable.
From LA or North San Diego - Take I5 south and take the Clairemont Drive Exit. Make a left turn on to East Mission Bay Drive. Turn into the 3rd drive way, if you pass the Hilton Hotel you have gone to far. Go through the front parking lot to the side access road to the back parking lot. We will be set up at the very end of the Playa Pacifica which is also know as Playa 2 or Cove South. Here is mapquest link to I5 & Clairemont Drive.

Cajon Pirate Feast will consist of: Alligator Sauage N' Peppers, Shrimp Creole, Red Bean & Rice, Corn on the Cob, Bread and New Orleans Cobbler and is catered by Mardi Gras Cafe. Ale, Rum Grug (special thanks to Sailor Jerry fer the Rum), lemon-tea, water is freely available as long as you can walk the plank. Make sure you bring your tankards.
